The History of New England Flannel
Humble and Hardworking are two of the Free Jacks core values and they directly mirror the people of New England. In order to best represent the towns and the cities across New England, we took inspiration from the clothing that was worn to build our Homes, Towns, Cities and States.
New England is famous for its love of Flannel, in-fact the New England Flannel shirt has been a staple of global fashion for more that 100 years. But the origins of flannel in New England can be found as early as the American Revolution. At the turn of the 19th century America was in a state of industrial growth. Flannel (already utilized during the Civil War for soldiers’ undershirts) found a new place as the ideal fabric for working men and women and has remained a part of the classic New England wardrobe ever since.
I love this Jersey, it's my favorite speciality Jersey in the MLR
