We were approached by ThunderCo, an events investment company to create a heritage brand that had an old-world classic feel. The brand needed to incorporate a horse and rider, using a non-binary character, and emulate classic legacy.


It was important to Thunderco that they use androgynous characters within their brand to ensure the logo works in historical and modern settings.

The logo’s simple outline design retains a clean and professional feel with heritage and legacy throughout.

Using humans in branding

Unless a brand is named after a person, we normally avoid using humans in logo design because it is often not future proof. For this reason it was important to ThunderCo that they use a human that has ambiguous race and gender.
