Vermont is known for many things, two of the most important are trees and in turn, wooden furniture.
When designing a logo that represents a place and its culture, it’s important to lean into heritage and history. That’s why the Vermont maple tree became the focus of this design.
solution:
This concept for Vermont Tree Goods focuses on natural elements.
Wood and specifically trees are tactile, therefore it was important that we represent texture across the logo. From the use of the tree branches in the V to the rugged and aged feel, this logo feels natural.
“It’s very Vermont”.

Design Process
Getting into nature became the first step to designing the Vermont Tree Goods logo. Really exploring how the trees grew and how new branches form, inspired our creative use of typography.
Simple green and brown color palettes accentuated the natural feel of the brand.
We are really happy with the overall results from the logo.
